Although not new to photography (a 1970s vintage Olympus OM 1 gathering dust in a cupboard is testament to that) I returned to picture taking when I bought my first DSLR in 2008.  Since then my photographic journey has included many Landscape workshops in the UK.  I also enjoy Aviation photography, and the odd Natural history shot when the opportunity presents

I started writing this blog in 2017 to record our travels and experiences whilst journeying down the East coast of Australia.  Since then I have attempted to share our experiences wherever we go in UK and abroad, illustrating them with my photographs. I use a Canon EOS 7D Mk 2 or a Canon compact.
