Farewell Tornado

The Royal Air Force’s remaining Tornado squadrons are due to be disbanded by the end of March 2019, bidding farewell to a combat aircraft that has served the RAF well over the last 35 years or so.

I missed the fanfare of flypasts and 9 aircraft formations, but was determined to see the jet on its final flight as it conducted a ceremonial flypast on 14 March 2019 as part of the Formal Disbandment Parade of numbers 9 and 31 squadrons.

The following images are from the flypast, taken at a location just south of RAF Marham.
