I am a member of Wymondham Photographic Society (my local photo club) and through the season they hold regular members competitions in both the printed image and Digital Projected Image (DPI) formats. They have two tiers, Tier 2 for experienced photographers and Tier 1 for those “developing”.
At our recent Annual DPI competition (that is the competition to find the best images of the season in various categories), I submitted four images in the Tier 1 competition and these images together with the results are below.
I hope you enjoy them.
Category – Nature

Wild Lupin – First – This was found on a roadside in New Zealand.
Category – Landscape

Cottage on Derwent Water – Second

Whitby Abbey at Sunset – Highly Commended
Category – Pictorial and General

What Are You Looking At? First.
This image was taken as we returned from a wet walk in Derbyshire. As we walked past a terraced house there was a barking noise and this dog poked his head out of the front door cat flap! I shot several images with my small Canon compact camera, this one being the best of them.

Congratulations David. Beautiful pictures….I remember the wet walk in Derbyshire
